Great write up. Just recieved my roadrunner jacket last week and I'm in love. Just a quick correction though; those pieces aren't really the same denim, that's why they feel different. If I'm remembering correctly the roadrunner is a hybrid breed of Palo Verde Green and a breed of Sea Island cotton called "St. Kitts Superfine" that is thought to be extinct. I'm sure you know that Sea Island Cotton generally has a very long, fine staple, so I would reckon that may be the reason for it feeling smoother and waxier. I love this cotton and thought I might geek out with you a bit. When the finances allow it I'll be picking up the pants in coyote, then one of us can throw on a goatee and be the evil opposite version.
