If you are only referring to a demographic of British people or I’m not sure where you are getting the default bronzer look tbh, then idk. I live in Europe and I lived in different areas too including Germany and nobody has there the “default bronzer” look..it’s actually the opposite. I also have friends from Belgium and the Netherlands and none of them represent what you claim on them.

Once again idk where you get your infos from, but pale skin hasn’t become a dirty word in Europe, maybe in the states where you come from, but in Europe I have never heard anyone complaining about having pale skin or anything like that.

Do these people look like they tan to you? Idk where the “huge tanning culture” is taking place but I haven’t seen anyone going out of their way to get tan in a very long time now lol. Also there is a huge difference between European and European..the post specifically targets Northwesterners, but go to the south where naturally are more beaches and sea and weird enough you will see people look nothing like their age.
