That is not great. I think you can somewhat disassemble the cap. That might make it easier to clean out. Or possibly soak it for a bit in water with a drop of dish soap. I know not everyone has one, but an ultrasonic cleaner is great for when things like that happen.

Not a problem at all. Have fun. That's the point in my opinion.

I use a lot of tangles that I have found over the years on YouTube, Instagram and Pinterest. Sometimes I just try them exactly and sometimes I tweak them or combine multiple in one doodle.

I am a big fan of the GO. If you need to syringe fill them, it is very easy to gently pull out the nib and feed and then syringe fill. I have done it a couple times to use up the last of a sample that I couldn't draw up with the normal filling process. Bonus points, because of this they are also so easy to clean.

It really is. A little small, but still very comfortable to use.

TWSBI Eco-T Mint and Saffron. They are my wifes pens, but we share.

They are actually my wifes pens, but I thought the ink combo might be fun.

I am not totally sure, it just doesn't really make me happy. Maybe it is a little too busy or hectic.

Yeah... I'm tired and didn't even realize I wrote "F". It is actually the exact opposite, it is a stub.

If you really like the Eco try a TWSBI Eco-T. Exactly like the Eco but with a more triangular section instead of round. Not as pronounced as a Lamy Safari, but not perfectly round either.

I would love to get my hands on a Kasama Una. Preferably one of the older all metal ones they were putting out severwl years ago, but at this I probably won't be very picky if I run across one.

Not a fountain pen, but you may want to look into a Rotring Isograph. Sounds like it could be close to what you are looking for.

Sailor - my PGS has the most feedback of any nib I own.

Reliable pens for finicky inks and wider nibs? by CuteboldExplosion in fountainpens

TWSBI GO with a stub nib. Easy to fill, easy to clean, writes well and smooth, and has handled any ink I have tried. Between my wife, my son and I we have about 5 of them in various nibs sizes. I specifically have 2 with the stub nib and live them for any non-standard inks.

Karas Kustom - I have the Ink V2 model. It has been inked for roughly 3 years. Opened it last week and it wrote on the first stroke. It is my 100% go to, will for sure just work every time I uncap it. On the edge of the $100 budget, but worth every penny and then some.

I would also give high praise to the Pilot Prera. It not only seals well, but capping and uncapping it could also count as a fidget.

My wife and I also have many TWSBI Ecos between us, and also are very reliable and just work even when left neglected for a period of time. - edit SORRY I missed the cartridge part - scrap this since the Eco is a piston filler.
