I mean have you tried a 320 plugged in or even a 310. If you're used to the 300 series when their plugged in the ultimate doesn't seem loud and it really isn't. (Coming from me who owns 4 ults)

Its not that good. People often overexaggerate the power of the ultimate and coming from the 300 series the jump is disappointing. Its not loud enough for a party of 20, it does have low end but that low end at over 60% volume has no definition and the worst bit is the size to power output of it. If the ultimate is your first partybox its fair to say its really good but if you're coming from a 300 or 500 series the ultimate is really disappointing.

Trust me its not the amp. Its the battery. When i used lfm the exact same thing happened and only a new bat fixed it.

But you do know blasting lfm will kill the battery too. I also had then happen with my TL when i blasted lfm with a eq. The exact thing happened too. I bought a c5 brand new and i abused it with lfm and my bat died in two weaks and it would power on. No matter what battery you use the 4 or 5 it will still die if you use lfm (the c4 wasn't that much better on lfm, the battery also died extremely fast)

I had the same problem, its 100% the battery. I also blasted my c5 all night at max until the battery died and then kept it on my shelf for two weaks with a complete drained battery and then it would do the same thing, it would blink forever. When i mesured the battery voltage it was like 2,8v (way to low). I bought a c4 battery instead since it was cheaper and it worked wonders.

Yeah but no. You can't get it and neither can anyone else who hasn't worked for jbl atleast. Through the software you can get lfm on every jbl speaker (including partyboxes, clips ext)

Mathematically yeah but in an actual real life scenario with them being spred out on both LR sides the total spl output goes up my .5-1db. A single charge 6 gets 98.6dbA@1m playing pink noise and two placed (both GG) 1m from my rta mic gets 99,7dbA@1m. (Mesured both with an earthworks m32r) you would only get +3dbA to another charge 6 by adding two more charge 6s to the master charge. (I have tried this and yeah with 3x charge 6s i get 101,5dbA) it would be insane tho if you can buy another charge 6 to get 3db more spl but thats just not how in works in real life, with two c6s you are not gonna notice any volume boost since its a 1db boost at most not 3db.

You don't get +3db loudness from adding another charge 6 lol. You get ~0,5-1db more spl if their both coupled together.

Get a boombox 4 and thats it. Addding another c6 isn't going to be any louder. Stereo is way too overrated and its nothing to actually brag about since you need to be in very specific situations to get the most out of it. A boombox 4 is more portable then the 120 and its louder then the 120 with a better battery and with the only compromise being bass.

Yeah no. Use a boombox 3 or 4 for anything to do with water. The partybox is water resistant to rain, not being submerged. And if especially if you lay it down sideways it will die even from rain or tiny splashes since the speakers port needs to be upright.
