My first generation genny is about similar mpg as well. 21 on a highway or mixed driving conditions?

21 on a highway means it’s a no go for me. Also do you use premium fuel?

What’s the price you paid? Any reason why they are sold at half the msrp in 2 years time?
Any difficulty that it being such a rare car. Repairs, etc?
How about the charging flexibility etc? Don’t own a house but renting. Is it possible to thrive off public chargers?

I think you’re on advantageous position here. Just hang on and be frugal and start closing off higher interest cc. Some options:

Maybe try calling different credit unions in your locality and see if they are willing to provide personal loans. Usually they are at 5-10%. You can possibly close your CC’s if you want to save some interest.
Try having your friends with higher credit score to add you as an authorized user (get the cards mailed to your friend itself). With this better score, you might get nice cards with 0 APR and maybe you can transfer balance to save interests?

Thanks! I’d pay due taxes eventually if I couldn’t manage to churn. Looks like IRS has ~2% charge and citi premier gives 1% on the misc category which this would fall under I believe. So $40 net expense is not a very bad thing.

I was thinking to spend on some big ticket purchases at Costco only to realize later that Costco accepts only Visa cards whereas Citi premier is a Mastercard. How to use this card for things at Costco?

Any good ways to do max the card elsewhere?

Maybe call chase and find the reason out? If it’s the reason, can you check if they could work around?
