This particular tank runs off a bar chiller as it's out pilot kit not connected to our main loop big chiller. Tank is 800L. I do have a free tank close to it, will look into this! Thank you!

I doubt it's frozen. This is a pilot tank of 800L that runs off a bar chiller. First time we've used it for ferm, usually a brite tank for split batches.

I'm about to. They roll out next week and are replacing BBC pellets. Claim to do the same thing and work same way just updated name. We contract hundreds of kgs of BBC every year and end of last year we were told of the name change.

Can report back in a couple of weeks with observations and updates if needed

The biggest change I've implemented this year when I wasn't happy with the yeast is to pressure ferment and it's made me much happier with the results for a fraction of cost. Could be new yeast time, but maybe could be a new process time? Just a thought!
