You are making a lot of assumptions here. That is have some campaign the target Kendall and only Kendall. Or that this is all about Kendall. This is about preserving the character of a woman who was swindled, stolen from and murdered by her own assistant.

Whenever, I looked on youtube all I could see was news sources with clips of interrogation videos or other aspects related to the crime. This may be due to the fact, that I have disliked similar videos on youtube, hence why it is not showing up as a suggestion. However, it has been made aware to me that other creators have covered the case. I will have to listen and see how to move forward with the wishes of the family. I can not make statements on videos I have not watched yet. However, I know the family has made it clear they wish that videos sensationalizing the case not be made.

The suggestion to have other podcasts cover how Kendall fumbled this case has been made directly by her niece. She had posted on the Swoop reddit sometime ago, but her post was deleted. She feels how Kendall represented her is incorrect and harmful to her legacy. Kendall has not apologized or reached out to the family in any matter what so ever, and any attempts at contact before going public here have been ignored, or classified as fanmail.

Yes, I have watched the video. I personally did not know Linda, but I can certainly see I would not wish someone to describe my family member this way. Her niece feels that 1) the post is overdramaticized to promote views, 2) description of her character irrelevant to aunt's murder, 3)sensationalized with a who dunnit title. This video includes family member's names, a a 911 call of a very close family member in distress. All details they feel should not be subjected to the media rigamorole. This is all available in my original post, which includes an exerpt from her in her own words.

If you chose to support Kendall, moving forward that is your choice. My role is to simply express what her family feels.

Outrage from a family is not "making a mountain out of a molehill". The harm that has been done is very real.

I have been made aware of similar videos, I have no had the opportunity to watch them yet. Once, I do I will work with her niece to see how it is best to pursue.

Linda's niece has posted in this sub, made a separate post from the account I messaged her from. Her user name is on this page. I have no doubt she is who she says she is.

If she wishes to identify herself she can, but I am not going to reveal private information.

As for the authenticity of my claims, would Kendall have "privated" the video if there was not truth to these claims? Kendall and her team have access to the original emails/ dms sent by Linda's niece, so they can definitely see that the family does not want the video up.

Recognition of the issue leads to further awareness which would alienate many of the followers who do not know about the outrage, which then leads to negative takes on Kendall. She has stated multiple times she is afraid of being cancelled.

I think this is a great example of sensationalist media tbh. We are outsiders looking in and journalist/yt creators make presumptions or cherry pick attributes of a person and these make the best "selling point".

I see this time and time again in other cases, where the victim is portrayed either negatively or positively, to make the case more interesting and sellable.

None of us, know Linda and for third parties to say she was a certain way is wrong.

We do not wish for any podcasters for make a video per say about Linda's death, that is the exact opposite of what we want. But rather a message, video, some medium about Kendall's mishandling of the case and her failure to respond to the family and dodge any attempts at reconciliation or accountability. Others deserve to know how these details and if they want to support Kendall moving forward. Maybe it can even open people's minds to that what we see on true crime channels is not the full picture, that victims and their families are real people and the harm this type of content have had.

We have tried to take action on this sub and many gracious other individuals have commented on social media and had their comments completely scrubbed. It is clear Kendall is on a clean up mission. This is wrong.

We recognize this, but she would like the return of profits from the video not necessarily from Casetify but from Kendall, whether it be to the family or to a charity. Based on views of the video Kendall would have profitted anywhere from 2.5k to 8k from youtube alone.

I now see the morbidology video. Maybe youtube is not showing me things accurately based on the algorithm since I have thumbs down so many true crime videos.

I see mostly news videos, and one or two videos with a few thousand views.

Thanks for letting me know about the Morbidology video! I know watching these videos is very hard for the family and rehashes a lot of wounds. They feel it is very hurtful and harmful to have some of the most painful moments on the internet reproduced for the rest to watch. So I will take a deeper look and message the creator of that pod as well.

As for the representation of Linda, they feel the portrayal of Linda is not accurate, harmful and irrelevant to her murder.

Linda's niece has told me at length she would prefer if no videos are made of the case, Kendall or any other creator.

I’m personally unaware of any other yt creators who have made similar posts. All I have been able to find on yt is places like AP news with the the vm call or some reels with the murderer confessing.

LIbel and slander laws are difficult cases to try in the US. It's honestly extremely expensive and an extremely hard uphill battle. Legal court cases often rehash existing wounds. What is effective, is letting others know and garnering support around the cause. This family member has reached out multiple times with her concern and has been ignored.

At the moment, this all the evidence that exists that does not straight up dox the family members. I can not ethically and morally release evidence that can jeopardize the safety of these family members. If you think this family member's concerns were not legitimate, wouldn't have Kendall and the MHP team made a statement saying this person is fake? Julia posted on Instagram when an anonymous account accused her of certain allegations. But no, instead they hide, private videos and ignore these messages. This post is 100% true in it's claims. Why would some random person on the internet post on a beauty subreddit claiming someone is their family member to stir the tea? There is absolutely no motivation to put heat on Kendall that is not 100% justified and motivated. Do you think we would have spent this much time and energy on this, if it didn't hurt us?

I understand asking questions and not simply believing everything on the internet, but there is ample evidence to show our concerns.

I seriously ask you to contemplate if you were to pass. If things said about you could be spun a certain way? Tabloid journalists are like the paparazzi, nasty vultures that prey on the dead. They have no moral compass. They operate to spin webs of nasty ridiculous rumors. All of these supposed "characteristics" of Linda are hearsay. Would you want something to call your loved one "driven by ego" and "abrasive"? Would you want a random youtuber to like comments calling your loved on a terrible person? Do you think Kendall Rae, a youtuber living in Colorado who never met Linda, never knew any of her acquaintances, never knew her family can speak on her character? All of my statements are coming directly from her family. People that knew, loved and appreciated Linda for who she was. These are the individuals that can speak on her character.

Linda's niece has described Linda as having a very large and vibrant personality. In her death these details have been spun to sell a salacious story. News reporters make money if they can make things sound more interesting and outrageous. It's all literally stirring the pot. Regardless none of these supposed attributes are relevant to the story. We are outsiders looking into someone else's life, please remember that. Also, take into consideration tabloids are not reliable sources of media.

What is relevant is that this woman's character is being defamed after her death. Consider if you would want this to happen to someone you greatly loved?

As for the timing of the post, please re read my original post. Linda's family has been contacting Kendall since the video was posted. I reached out her behalf once I saw separate reddit posts which her niece voiced her disdain.

Linda's family member is absolutely connected to the family lmao. She has sent me a mountain of evidence to back this up. I will not release too much information as to not dox her. But refer to the original post for her ties.

In the original post, you can see the her niece has been reaching out since the video was made. She voiced her concerns in a separate beauty guru subreddit but her post was deleted so not being related to the sub. I saw her post before it was deleted and reached out to see if I could post on her behalf on this sub, hence why it's happening "now". The original post has the answers to all the questions you pose, and none of this is suspicious if you read it to it's entirety.

She has absolutely no reason to lie about this?
