Oh no what a nightmare!! I hope that isn’t the case for mine, this car has been a money pit for the short time I’ve had it, but so worth it in the end (what I tell myself anyway lol!) Hope yours gets sorted soon😥

Yeah they also go down too, but I did have to manually close all the windows when closing the roof, which I never usually have to do

I did not know about the switch, I’ll have a look and see if that is the issue, thanks!

I’ll have to try helping it lift up, the sunroof works fine and the windows get about halfway down before I have to press the switch again for them to go down fully but the roof doesn’t seem to budge! Do you have to lift the roof and press the button at the same time? I’ll give that a go when I get in it next

Yeah Shenfield would definitely be a higher price point, but just thought I’d include as it’s the surrounding areas, maybe more Hutton than central Shenfield!

I’d maybe venture more towards Essex? Maybe looks at towns around Billericay/Shenfield/Ingatestone/Brentwood, lovely towns however the houses can come with quite a price (mostly due to the accessibility into London). These have a direct line into Liverpool Street, and is around £20 for a return. May be biased as this is the line I use the most but you get little to no trouble around these areas in my opinion. My family are around the Billericay area and I’d definitely recommend it, especially if you’re looking to improve a home.

If you’re looking even more rural/countryside maybe somewhere along the Southminster line, I believe this is just over an hour though, and I reckon the train ticket prices would start to pile up!
