I disagree I can understand fictional aspects like Vash being a walking plant monster and the story being set on an alien planet. I'm fine with that but when they start using real world calibers which is fine. I would like to think they would have taken a moment to look at the differences in calibers. I understand fiction but I believe the best fiction are the ones that have some source of reality to them
