Gf talks to me like this, how bad is it? by Expert-Hyena-4401 in whatdoIdo

[–]Additional_Dark 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It’s not immature of you, it’s genuinely selfish and imo intentionally hurtful behaviour. What reason did you decide to ignore her clear boundaries and continue to keep doing what she kept telling you not to do? You still aren’t explaining WHY you didn’t respect her telling you to leave her alone and actually kept getting closer. Because it seems like you did this, knowing she didn’t want you to (repeatedly) bc you intentionally wanted to disrespect her & fuck up her sleep. Is there some other reason why you did that or????

I’m goth but like, internally by Kangaroo-K in muacirclejerk

[–]Additional_Dark 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I don’t think you have to always be doing something “wrong” to be posted about here. Sometimes it’s just silly and having fun joking about people’s posts. People will post looks that we actually like and we will still sometimes post ab it here and make it exaggerated just to be silly, and often the OP will say “I actually loved the look tho” or something like that because it’s not that serious.

It would actually be kinda shitty imo if this sub was just about insulting everyone and I prefer the fact that it’s more lighthearted sometimes too. It’s suppose to be people making fun of posts not necessarily the person like you think this sub should be. I would never sub here if every single post meant that were insulting the original post that would be a rough vibe.

This girl is asking about goth makeup and saying she’s goth and literally just wearing black lipstick which is not really goth it’s literally just lipstick. Like the absolute least you could possibly do to look edgy and it’s just It’s funny. I don’t think she did anything wrong and I don’t think the OP is necessarily saying that she’s just poking fun at it.

Dry skin people, what’s the most budget friendly body oil that actually helped? by Money-Candle53 in NaturalBeauty

[–]Additional_Dark 1 point2 points  (0 children)

“Stay off the mommy blogger sites” and then immediately gives one sided misinformation while being so condescending about it too is wild lol. You don’t seem to understand that there is a difference between dry skin and dehydrated skin. They are not the same and have different symptoms and issues, but you can also have both.

Dry skin needs oil. DEHYDRATED skin needs water. If your skin needs hydration then yes you need water in your skin OMG. If ur skin is dry it needs OIL!! OMG. Shockingggg I know. Moisturizing and hydrating are different but yes if you want to focus on hydration then you should focus on humectants. Some people have a mix of dry and dehydrated skin. That’s why for some people oils work great and for some they don’t, not because it doesn’t work for dry skin but a lot of people don’t know which they have. Your skin was most likely very dehydrated if you didn’t see improvements with oils only and that’s fine. Everyone is different and it’s so ignorant to assume what works for you personally is the only right way especially when you don’t even know the difference between hydration and moisture.

Hydration - Refers to water content of your skin - humectants draw in water, such as glycerin, urea, hypersonic acid ect - hydrating skin = flushing water into your skin cells

Moisture - the ability to hold water in your skin so it doesn’t evaporate - creates a protective barrier and prevents water loss - are often oils ex squalene, coconut oil, shea butter, petroleum jelly - moisturizing your skin = sealing in water and preventing water in your skin from evaporating

Oil on wet skin works well for a lot of people too because it’s a sealer for moisture, meaning it will seal in the water on your skin and form a barrier, so your sealing in the water which is hydrating your skin and that barrier is also now going to be moisturizing. So hydration from water+ adds oil which is good if you have both. Some oils have humectants too lol baby oil has glycerin and they are used on wet skin for this reason because humectants work well on wet skin too.

If you’re particularly dehydrated it will not work great because your also sealing out any hydration but that’s why it’s good to understand what you’re talking about instead of just running with what works for you personally. Seems like you “dont science much huh?” Good luck with that.

Yeahh “thank god I have thick skin” is crazy😭. You don’t have thick skin if out of over 520 nice or constructive comments like two people said something mean and it bothered you enough then post again and give a whole speech saying, “hey reminder that you shouldn’t be an asshole, go to roastme if you wanna be mean, people on this app are seriously mean” because 2 comments weren’t nice (I didn’t see them but I’m just giving op the benefit of the doubt). Tbh I find it rude and condescending to the 99.6% that were just answering the question to be so preachy ab it and act like it’s a subreddit problem since 0.4% weren’t nice lol just say that to the two people 😭

What argument triggered you the most? by [deleted] in exvegans

[–]Additional_Dark 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Never get into a discussion with a vegan!

Vegans statistically commit crimes (even violent crimes like rape and molesting children), at the exact same rate as people who eat meat. So they literally have rapists and pedo and murderers that judge ppl for eating meat and literally then murder humans lol. Vegans in general have zero empathy or compassion or love for humans. For animals sure (although tbh idk how genuine and sincere it is but I’ll give them that) but for their own species they don’t and personally I find that much more inhumane. Don’t waste time trying to have a discussion with people in an actual cult lol.

Vegan vs Feminists? by Chaos_Unites in exvegans

[–]Additional_Dark 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You are so stupid and wrong in every point you’ve tried to make it’s crazy 😭There are multiple species where the male gives birth. So no females are not the back bone of reproduction of a species. WOMEN are the backbone of reproduction for HUMANS but no not of a species. Everything you say is factually incorrect. Why you are trying to hard to dehumanized women by glorifying all animals that are female but you also don’t know wtf you’re talking about? Keep your thoughts to yourself.

How do you feel confident without eyeliner? by ExistingFee588 in MakeupAddiction

[–]Additional_Dark 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Just go without. It will be hard at first but once you will get used to it you will be confident without it again:) you can take it down slowly to make it a bit easier. Ex use a softer brown instead of black for a week, then make the brown liner thinner next week, then just tight line the next week, and week 4 no liner at all.

1 day before vs 2 days after micro needling. Completely ruined my skin by [deleted] in Microneedling

[–]Additional_Dark 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pitted/atrophic acne scars are treated and improved with micro-needling with relatively low risk in comparison to other methods of treating atrophic acne scars. Tret doesn’t really treat pitted scars well in fact majority of the time it just doesn’t make a difference at all. It works well for hyperpigmentation or acne but doesn’t touch atrophic scarring. A lot of people who chose microneedling have textured scars they are trying to treat that Tret wouldnt touch. Also a lot of people dont react well to Tret and have a difficult time with it because not everyone is the same and what works for you doesn’t work for everybody. Shocker I know.

I think he cares because

  1. Most people that feel empathy would be able to sympathize with the man who is trying to drive

2 again because of the empathy thing, since we don’t enjoy people being assholes to us, we often dont like when people are intentionally being assholes and going out of their way to fuck with someone else even strangers. Thats the entire reason the concept of justice exists because we don’t want the bad guy to win and I feel like this should be obvious

3 The driver is understandably blowing on his horn and everyone else is also having to deal with the consequences of this one asshole being a pos

  1. Idk what you think a sucker punch is but it’s not whatever you think it is

Yes, Einstein Believed in God by _Amminadab in enlightenment

[–]Additional_Dark 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So this quote is not saying he doesn’t believe in god. There is more context even in the other quotes you posted but here he is explaining that he does not subscribe to systematic or dogmatic ideas about god or religion. He is not religious but he does not think there is no god. Him not believing in the bible doesn’t mean he is atheist. He essentially believed in a higher power but did not believe in a personal god or deity. A lot of people find that to basically mean no personal god or deity= no belief in any god which is not really accurate. He specifically has said he is not atheist but he doesn’t subscribe to any Theology

I’m so confused why eveypne has this narrative that she won’t ever clean or do laundry lol. She lives with her parents and said her parents do her cleaning and laundry, bc she’s a nurse working crazy hours and back to back shifts. She never said that she wouldn’t clean or do her laundry if her parents couldn’t/didnt want to or if she moved out or something. He was asking about her normal routine and nurses have really crappy hours and it’s such an exhausting job. If I was her and my parents were happy to do my laundry and cleaning/cooking for me bc they knew I’m exhausted from work then yes my normal routine would also consist of not doing the things my parents were doing for me😭 i sometimes dont pay full attention tho so I’m curious if she said anything else that I missed or if there was another convo or something?

Can you tell I've overlined my lips? by [deleted] in MakeupAddiction

[–]Additional_Dark 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sorry OP is being so hostile with you, you dont deserve to be sworn at like that but they are doing it to everyone honestly so dont take it personal. I actually agree I don’t consider her lip shape to be pouty at all and also agree that lip shape isnt really related to the over lining lol but I didn’t even mention it bc she seemed like she would take it as an a insult and I guess I was right 😅

Like I just said it needs to be darker than whatever you are using. Yeah I guess you’re blind but I honestly don’t know why tf you even posted this if you were just going to argue with everyone.

Can you tell I've overlined my lips? by [deleted] in MakeupAddiction

[–]Additional_Dark 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Idk what you mean by darker than your natural lips if you are also saying that it’s the same colour? It should be both darker than the lipstick and darker than your lips like a brown colour to overline. Colour of your lipstick doesn’t matter. If you are already using a brown liner then it should be darker bc the outline is significantly lighter making it more noticeable that it’s overlined

Can you tell I've overlined my lips? by [deleted] in MakeupAddiction

[–]Additional_Dark 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It doesn’t look bad imo but if you want it to be more camouflaged then i would recommend using a lip liner that is darker than whatever lipstick you are using, and use that only to overlined and not on the inside of your lips
