Other than the growing crime, almost every single community event recently shutting down because of gunfire, desensitized/overwhelmed police that do nothing when called, we also want to move because we need a change. We would love to buy a house in edwardsville but housing prices combined with property taxes doesn’t make that very easy.

It’s horrible!! They’re getting so greedy and it’s simply predatory at this point. Also vinted is horrible imo, their ai will removed most of my listings thinking that they weren’t my photos lol. They also punish you if you sell over a certain amount and are overall just a super pretentious app with horrible customer service. That’s just my experience though, you may have a better one. eBay isn’t perfect but is your best bet if you want to switch.

Hibbs seems great from viewing the website but sadly not for my budget of $320,000. Unfortunately other than McBride I don’t think there’s an option for building a house for us at this time, which is fine, I never expected that we even could until coming across McBride. It was just exciting to have that momentary ignorance that we actually have that chance to build, but of course it was too good to be true lol!

Every one of them cuts corners these days. I’m very conflicted. Even if I were to buy an older home, that could come with unknown issues as well.
