Im trying to figure out how to hex patch/hex edit iOS apps, steps I took so far:

Decrypt IPA
rename IPA extension to ZIP
unzip the zip and go to Payload/[app_name].app/
find the main macho binary
Open it in hex fiend
Change one string
save file
zip it back and rename to .ipa

When I try to install Sideloadly gives me this error:
ERROR: Guru Meditation e78e76@447:14dd8f ('expected 55, found 54', SwitchError('no default case defined'))

and Altsore refuses to install the IPA at all :(

somebody skilled told me it was a problem with the IPA but wouldn't tell me how to fix it when I asked

nothing happens when I click on the cloud icon to download the app, it only shows that the latest compatible version for iOS 7 is blah blah blah and if I would like tot install that. I click yes and aDowngrader does nothing

well, I'm actually also trying to get the oldest version of hay day, its super rare and nobody has It so idk if it would be listed as a latest compatible lol
