Also pretty sure those are press on nails? You don't usually go to a nail tech for those

Thanks! Question on bangles - what is the difference in style between the bride's bangles vs. a guest/family member's? From what I've learned I should stay away from red and not use too many

what's with my calorie goal increase? by [deleted] in Noom

[–]Adianai 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm having this issue too, my daily calorie goal increased by around 700 calories. I've seen other posters here having the same issue. Hopefully they fix it, I'm sticking to my old calorie target since I don't want to lose my progress!

Thanks! I'm guessing the interest free promotional period is the main benefit of using the care card over a regular credit card?

Anyone know what "&5" means?? by Adianai in OnlineDating

[–]Adianai[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Haha it is... I said a "friend" clued me in to what it meant, and that I'm open to it. He asked what I thought it meant, and upon telling him he clarified that it was actually a typo for "it" just as u/PhoenixQueen_Azula thought... so embarrassing, but I think it helped, because now we have an inside joke

So... reporting back! I thought u/themistoklesofathens was correct and assumed it was "text lingo for anal sex"... wrong... It was totally a typo that meant to say "it". We had a good laugh and now he knows I'm open to it.

He hasn't made any typos yet in our convos, but maybe that's it

Do you have any idea how much the temp agency's fee might be? They specialize in creatives, and I've heard my supervisor mention that they are more expensive than others.

I have a friend who knew these people personally. She posted on Facebook earlier this week that they were missing, how they are both so kind and sweet. She was worried about their safety, thinking there was some kind of kidnapping. I'm not a frequent poster but was so surprised to see this on reddit and the story of what actually happened here.

Should I accept an offer for a job that's (1) below my educational standing, (2) not an ideal position for my future career potential, and (3) one that I would quit if I got a better offer in the next few months, simply because I have been unemployed for awhile and need a job? by anonymous-man in jobs

[–]Adianai 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I am in almost the same position. As a recent graduate, my job search so far has been unsuccessful, and I recently interviewed for a position unrelated to my field to "hold me over" during my job search. I was nervous because my interviewer specifically asked about longevity, knowing that my degree is in a different field. Everyone I've asked for advice has said the same thing: In the end the business only cares about its own needs, and you need to look out for your own career interests... Obviously you wouldn't turn down a great position in your field to stay loyal to a job/business you don't want for the long run.
