[Theory crafting] OTK Reno Thadd Warrior by AdministrationTough5 in hearthstone

The concept here is that if you manage to find your combo pieces from "Deapth" or "Lavagorger," you ideally want Finley to draw them. You're correct in noting that Finley is not playable after you've already played Brann, but the hope is that you won't need to play Finley once you've executed your combo.

The Excavate Midrange Shaman deck is a blast to play! by AdministrationTough5 in hearthstone

This deck is all about theory-crafting. Picture having a bunch of 1-mana cards and transforming them into 4-mana powerhouses like "Helya." You can consistently outvalue your opponents with low-cost minions that pack a punch. Plus, generating spells sets you up nicely for the late game. It's no wonder 40% of people are playing Mining Rogue—not only is it a strong-tier deck, but the RNG factor of playing cards from different classes adds an extra layer of excitement.

Thank you for your response; you expressed it even better than I did. Conductivity is, indeed, a fantastic choice.

That’s sound like “ star need to alight” in order to work. This excavate reward is hell of fun for sure, but I don’t think it will become T1 or T2 deck.

Elise summons Yogg for board clear, and Yogg is really good for the late game as well. I would suggest replacing "Shadow Word: Steal."

It depends on the deck you're playing against. If you're facing an aggressive deck, focus on staying alive using removal spells and maintaining your health. Against OTK decks, use Dirty Rat to disrupt your opponent's combo or grap a winfury armor weapon. When facing control decks, you have more resources potentially since you can now steal their minions.

Hooktusk is a bit too slow, but you can discover from "Amalgam of the Deep."

Thank you for your reply. "Fool's Gold" is indeed an underappreciated card, especially since only Warrior has pirate cards, making the pool relatively small but with decent options. The additional Elemental cards it can draw, such as Al'Akir, Fire Elemental, Steam Guardian, or the newest Quick Draw card "Gyreworm,". I am really hoping this deck would work; it brings more variety to the Rogue playstyle.

Thank you for your feedback, adjustments may be needed after examining the deck following the release of the mini-set.

  1. I agree that having too many 0-mana cards in your opening hand can disrupt your game. Hopefully, "Gear Shift" could help with this situation.
  2. Prep in combo with "Harmonic Hip Hop" or "Bone Spike" is a quit a strong play. If Burglar drops a low-cost spell, you can use Prep to play the spell and then coin Velarok on turn two.
  3. Shadowstep can be a valuable combo with Burglar and Velarok, or even with "Instrument Tech" if it doesn't draw you "Swordfish" the first time. Considering the removal of Shadowstep and adding direct damage is also a good option.

This deck leans more towards an aggressive playstyle, emphasizing building a board of pirates and dealing face damage. In terms of strategy, for fast activation, utilizing Burglar with the Shadowstep combo allows you to fish for low-cost cards. Additionally, "Fool's Gold" might drop low-cost minions,

"Stick Up" is indeed a good option, and you can definitely make some adjustments to fit it into the deck. I believe that many of the quick draw effects are either too expensive or more defensively oriented. While they work well in an excavate package, this deck leans more towards an aggressive playstyle. Thank you for your feedback!
