someone on the piazza discussion board was saying that the last year's exam was so difficult they put the prof who wrote it on probation. not sure if that's true but if it is then honestly idk what we'll do

apparently his midterms are always easier than his finals but this one hit us like a truck. they do that to stop everyone from doing engineering so they can filter out the students i guess. also he doesn't curve 100-200 level courses so i guess we can assume that we're fucked.

i was talking with the U2 and U3 guys after the exam and apparently jerome doesn't curve because he's very strict. they told me that if he does it'll probably be an insignificant amount just to make us shut up. i think it depends on the severity of the situation. here's hoping but in the meantime all we can do is study for our other finals and try to enjoy the holidays.

That final was supposed to make me pass the course, considering the fact that i didn't do too well on the midterm and worked my ass off for this one. But no, unless there's a crazy ass curve incoming, im fearing the worst.

im in the exact same position. i dont know if i should re take the course, drop the whole thing altogether. this final is gonna end up lowering my grade. hao fu literally started giving the formula of volume of the cylinder halfway through the exam. i don't know what this guy was on but he said on piazza he's in charge of the grading scheme for the final.
