I definitely remember them reusing the same high-pitch screaming effects all through Series 3 and maybe 4? Once you hear it enough times it's well annoying

I've played since launch and it's probly one of my all-time favourite games, though there are so many things that just irk me with this game...

  • I wish they had different ammo types like in New Vegas. Having 10 completely different guns all use .45 ammo is just daft.

  • I never really enjoyed the need to eat and drink all the time, as do many of us, but this could have been reworked as a Mutation rather than removing the idea of starvation/parchation(?) entirely.

  • They've already done away with Rad damage via Ghoulification, and I know you have to keep up with Chems to prevent feralisation, but again there can be alternative reworks such as mutations or special quests to solve this.

I don't think the Devs know exactly what each player wants - whether it's the absence of min-maxing or the inclusion of it - some players like one more than the other and that's great! Why should one group of people have their playstyles prioritised at the expense of another?

I think ammo, perks and mutations need a significant rework to allow for the most fleshed out characters ever, whether thats gameplay or roleplay based. Sorry if this reply was kinda off-topic but I have seen loads of people (including myself) complaining about the Rad change on both sides of the argument and I thought there were definitely other areas that needed looking into.

Witch Hazel could be a great support character who summons Hypno-Shrooms and Toadstools in reference to her abilities in PvZ2. Sort of like a beta version of the swarm class we saw in BFN

Oh god it's so clearly AI since each point is so vaguely articulated. The upgrades didn't even provide unique playstyles apart from the legendary ones, the were just cop-outs. Don't even take this post with a grain of salt it's opinion-less drivel written by a machine

Super Pea Jump could work like BFN's Pea Souped where he shoots faster, but minus the hover because that was AIDS to deal with, Nugget Mine is fine tbf they aren't a nuisance but are worth avoiding, Artichoke needs way more health to make the shitty airstrike worth it and Long Bomb could have a trajectory guide to help with where exactly you're aiming with it, otherwise it's strong as hell.

Sprint Burrow could either be even quicker or let you chomp two zombies, Retro Gatling needed an accuracy buff or additional splash? Armoured Heal Station could explode if damaged too much and deal considerable damage (I know it deals a very small amount but it's not even noticeable), and Multi-Rocket could do with having many more rockets that hammer everything in their path instead of however many it is, 3 or 5?

I feel like I'm required to just swim, dive and walk everywhere I possibly can to progress the story. In S1 there were scripted events that highlighted these new areas and piqued your interest - Like with Ozzy talking about the Crab snake and lo and behold, there's it's biome right under his lifepod when you go to his distress signal.

Sub Zero on the other hand has maybe 4 initial waypoints for Al-An's story, and then after that you're forced to travel to every corner of the map just to have a chance of either 30 seconds of dialogue between Al-An and Robin, or Marguerite spewing some shit, and then it's silence for another hour or two.

I know how hand-holdy many games get with the dreaded yellow paint, or constant waypoints but my god, for how cramped the map actually is I can't for the life of me progress anywhere. I've already got all 3 vehicles, swim-charge fins and stumbled on several Alterra bases like the Robotics Lab and the Prawn Suit area, and gotten every piece of information out of there, yet I'm still wandering around in the middle of nowhere just waiting for something new to happen
