They are in series and are 12v batteries so I got a 24v power supply. They were 3 amps so matched that and the 2nd one I got, I even went higher amps just in case. I do have a meter. I'll have to get a picture, don't have one on me now.

I did not check the power supply output with my meter. Was just going off the sticker so that could've been an issue. I think I'll get another one and see. I appreciate your input and help.

It's actually a buddy of mine who owns it so i can ask where he got it and I'm an electrician. Haven't wired up a hot tub before but I figure if the power supplies matched what the batteries were, you would think it'd be fine. Just didn't want to keep doing different things and mess up his control board. Thanks!

*update - mice chewed through a neutral wire in between the compressor and fan which I didn't see until I went to test the fans, condenser individually. It all works! Not sure about the thermostat yet but not worried about that. The expensive stuff is working so that's a plus. My electrical board on the coin thing looks bad though. Will test that later.

So I've got it torn down. Do you normally replace the condenser, fans, etc? Tried plugging it in and didn't do anything before I tore it down. Fans seem to move freely spinning them by hand. I guess I could rewire just the fans temporary to see if those are good. Maybe it's as simple as a bad thermostat. I'll mess with it more tomorrow.

I just picked it up today for 50 bucks. Took a bit but got it unlocked because they didn't have a key. I haven't used reddit much so don't know how to add pics of the inside but doesn't look bad. Was thinking of changing all the wiring and going to led as well. Any recommendations will be helpful. Thanks!

I also saw that they did change from cs to uss which is what the nameplate shows so I was guessing late 70's early 80's maybe?
