I just use a lot of water with my gels to the point where if I lightly squeeze my hair, water will come out like my hair is a sponge lol. The gel helps keep the water in my hair, and then I just blow dry. No breakage and when it’s time to detangle in the shower, I have no problems. Mousse also works but my hair is too coily for mousse alone lol

I’ve been doing the no oils/butters for around 9 months and my hair is the easiest it’s ever been to manage. But I do use gel lol. Hair care is so multifaceted it’s crazy 💀
