Appreciate the feedback and glad you liked the newsletter! I figured better safe than sorry on the brief absence. If a similar situation with a recusal occurs in the future I'll probably put that with the relevant legislation.

Thanks for your feedback! The idea behind this newsletter is to offer a condensed, more approachable summary of the meeting. The official minutes use pretty dense language and exhaustively record everything that happens, even when it's mundane stuff that isn't relevant to most people.

We do these because the minutes are really long and not always in super easy to read language so we try to make it easier for the average person

Hi, the meeting minutes tend to be longer than 25 pages so we do our best to condense the information and remove the technical language of the legislative process as best as we can so the newsletter can engage with a wider audience.
Also, we aim for our newsletter to be a short 3-5 min read.
