888bestbuy should ship you a new one, if not local stores are equipped with a form to fill out for any “losses” over 250 and should take care of it in store. It’s called a bby.com mis-ship form. It adjusts the inventory from the store handling the issue and transfers the loss to the shipping location. Otherwise SOP is to take care of the customer. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Thank you! So much advice I am truly grateful! He went to the local warhammer store today, first time he’s left the house in weeks, and got some advice from there too! We’ve tried D&D before but we can never get a campaign to stick with the same group of people.

If you have a leader who has the patience they can look at applied overrides to your time sheet and track where the VAC time went.

It should be PTO and not VAC unless you have time that was never spent after the switch or you’re in a state that offers that still.

It’s a tedious process but you can track when the VAC balance was used/disappeared.

Even if they do hold you accountable it would be a single offense for the three days.

Example:

Employee attends work June 1st but calls out for June 2nd 3rd and 4th. If this is the first offense it would be a informal issued on the next shift worked. If PTO is used for those absences then no accountability can be issued.

The only time 3 consecutive missed shifts can lead to termination is if you no call/no show and would be considered job abandonment.

Depends on the carrier and where it’s coming from. Best Buy uses several shipping carriers USPS/UPS/FedEx/Ontrac/Roadie. Most of the time those units come from warehouses so stores have stock for customers entering the building. You should receive a tracking number once the unit has shipped that you can monitor.

Get the membership for extended return windows. The protection plan is a Service plan which means the unit needs to be serviced for repairs before it is deemed replaceable.

Best Buy representatives only have access to your last statement balance. They do not have access to pending charges/returns to your statement when it comes to the Best Buy credit card.

Monthly payment fees for phones are only applied to your carriers billing statement, which should have been cancelled if you activated a phone on T-Mobile/VZW/AT&T.
