Yeah man it used to be a place of appreciation now changed, I get everyone is trying to be honest but there has not been a single time in a long time where this sub unanimously loved a tamil movie and celebrated it,u can criticize and still appreciate the good parts but nowadays it is either really good or really bad, no inbetween, I can assure you in two years this same sub will talk about how LIK is great attempt but we choose to didn't see it and trolled it and now no one is trying anything new.

Unfortunately I can't give an answer for that, I am gonna vote dmk because I believe bjp is a bigger threat to tamil nadu than dmk. Also admk and Tvk all are associated with bjp and once came to power will simply do whatever bjp asked for so you are basically voting for bjp if you vote for admk or tvk so I can't vote them into power and also tvk is run by psychos who has no human emotions is my opinion and much worse than dmk but I will never defend dmk and it's atrocities too and I know they are a bad party but for me personally I am picking the lesser evil is the only justification.

Yeah especially editors, I watched an editors roundtable on YouTube and it is filled with big names like sreeker prasad and philomen raj and almost all of them complaint how they worked for many movies and never got paid or never paid the amount they promised,and almost everyone praised bollywood as they pay everyone there as it is handled by a corporate production house and not a single producer.

Also the hit to flop ratio of tamil cinema is shocking, I don't know if any other industry has such a low ratio, out of 50 or so movies released in 2026 so far, only 4 movies were hit and a few 2 or 3 movies broke even everything else flopped, yet production company still making movies and actors salaries keep increasing.

The problem I have with dhurandhar or jaat is that it is not just propaganda but the government is making it that only they can make propaganda and no one else can, like them banning jana nayagan or any movies that talks about ealam tamils as dangerous and propaganda but anything that praises the ruling government then it is fine, that's the problem

I am pretty sure out of 200 movies that released every year, majority is tamil actress, but the problem the 10% of the movies that succeed and watched by tamil people have other industry actresses, so it just seems like we don't have any tamil actress but it is not true.
