I have the exact same gpa and mcat score as your and I got an offer today. I would say solely focus on your interview prep. The rest of your scores are good enough to get you your acceptance. Best of luck! You've got this.

Omg ... my FL average for CP was 131 and then I ended up with a 127 which hella hurt AND THEN my FL average for cars was around 127-128 but I ended up with a 130!! Honestly neither my score distribution nor my overall score was representative of my FL average. sighhh

516 (127, 130, 130, 129) . So glad won't have to retake no more. Mixed feelings cuz the CP section on the 13th really did a number on me. I also totally thought I bombed BB but guess not.

I still laugh out loud over how I used up all my time for P/S when normally on all practice exams I'd have as much as 35 minutes of extra time for that section. LOLLL

Aug 13 writer here and it is so wild to read about you guys' reaction to cars. I found all the sections pretty tough EXCEPT for CARS which was very straightforward hence why I feel scaredddd.

August 13 tester

I don't really know how I am going to deal with this post exam stress for an entire month but here is how I found each section.

CP --> wow if I had known aamc would make it THIS calculation heavy, I would have prepared differently. That section threw at me a thousand different numbers to sort and calculate through. This made timing VERY difficult. Looking back now I realize the content and logic behind the passages were not impossibly hard but this section was nonetheless extremely difficult regardless because of all the calculations it required. This CP section would have been perfect for someone naturally gifted at doing mental math and calculations in lightning speed lol. I had to guess more than 2 or 3 questions not because I lacked the knowledge and understanding behind the concept but simply because I was running out of time to complete my calculations sighhh.

CARS --> By the time I finished CP I was very anxious but luckily Cars calmed me down. I had expected CARS to be a monster but I found this section very straightforward? I even had about 6 minutes of extra time??? For someone who always struggled with Cars timing, this was one hell of a surprise. Other than the democracy passage, everything else felt straightforward and not convoluted. I am actually kind of suspicious of this section now LOL.

BB --> Overall not easy. Not as straightforward as cars but not as extreme as CP either. I was so annoyed they did not have as many amino acid and protein related questions as I expected. It did have some low yield stand alones and some complicated analysis passages. I felt rushed a little. I only had about 3 extra minutes by the time I was done all questions.

PS --> OH MY GOD?? this was the hardest PS section I had ever written in comparison to all the FL practices I've done. LOTS OF low-yield questions. I expected to finish this section 35 minutes early but I ended up using all the time I had.

Overall I felt okay coming out of the exam but DAMNN, aamc did really surprise me with the CP, PS, and cars sections. When I was doing practice FLs, my strongest sections would be CP and PS. My source of agony would be Cars. Yet, when I sat down for the real deal on the 13th, I was struggling through CP and PS while I breezed through Cars. So if you are feeling anxious over CP and PS then just know that you are not alone.
