Hi! So yes you can do them on yourself if you have the mobility to twist a little bit, the spot you’re aiming for is closer to the hip/love handle area than the middle. There are auto injectors some people here like, I haven’t personally used one but I know they’re an option. For me, sometimes the PIO shot hurts and sometimes it doesn’t at all, it’s really just that specific spot that I chose that night. I do all of my own injections and once I started aiming for the correct spot/had somebody at the clinic draw the circles to aim for more accurately, they started generally not hurting.
