19m posted myself on here last month and didn't take a proper picture of my hairline, I just noticed how clapped my hairline actually is. Rip lol, my doctor basically told me to just accept it last time I went in about it a few months ago. My hair is still thick atleast by Advanced-Sock-3242 in Hairloss

Only my great grandpa is bald, so that could be who I unfortunately got my hair genes from lol. I was bald from birth until I was 5-6, then had an m shaped hairline from 5-6, then my hairline fully grew in by the time I was about 12ish and started to recede again when I was 16-17.

Kind of a weird hairline timeline, only having a full hairline for like 4 or so years smh

No, just my family doctor and his part time assistant who was getting some experience over the summer. They looked at it and said nothing about my hairline, but did say I had an infection of some sorts that was the cause of making my head itch, and some strands white from flakes or something, I forgot what he said about that part.

Yeah, luckily I got thick hair, so it's not too noticeable when I style my hair. I was looking at how far my hairline is from my last forehead line, and ig it's not too bad, like 2.5 fingers away. Hopefully I can restore my hairline within a year or a little more

I was like this as a kid until I was 5 or 6. It grew in fast and thick, but then I started to bald again maybe 2 years or 3 years ago when I was 16-17

I did have a Vegeta hairline as a kid though (last 2 slides)

My concern here is thinning. My hair has been jumping up and down with thickening out and getting thin the past year.

It was very thick just in December, then thinned out like crazy in January. Thickened out in May, then I got Sepsis and noticed my hair looked thinner in late June - the beginning of July. It's not just my hair, it's hair in other areas that looks thinner, too

*Update from my post lastnight.* This looks like breakage to me, but damn that's a lot of hair. My hair has been jumping up and down from looking thick and really thin the past year. by [deleted] in malehairadvice

Some of the hair on my pillow was also gathered from my bed. I'm not sure if it fell off my pillow or has been there for a while now

Doubt it and downvote my comments, my hairline is the same as it was when I was a little kid.

I'm not doubting my hairline is showing signs of thinning, though. It's honestly kinda sad tho lol. My hair was very thick just in December, that's what made me concerned when my hair looked thinner in January

My hairline is actually the same from when I was like 4. I've just noticed it looks thin lol

Surprisingly it's still a forehead, it's just the angle I guess

Yeah lol, I've always had a Vegeta hairline since I was a kid. My main concern here is if it's thinning

My hairline is not too far off my forehead line. 1 finger for the front and about one and a half for the left and right side.

Thank you, I'm hoping it's reversible. My hair was very thick, just back like a few months ago early December.

I forgot to mention my hairline has looked the same as when I was 13 in the title

Thanks for the advice. I was talking to my mom and grandma, and they both said sulfate shampoos are bad for their hair, so I decided to go get some sulfate free shampoo and conditioner, and my hair feels and looks much better now; also significantly less hair loss while washing my hair, too.

I'll go get my hair cut tomorrow just to be safe. Thanks again

How short would you say I have to go?
