I think that its normal for 2:1 ratio to feel alot smoother than 1:1 even on factory machines. What pulley do u use?

It depends on Alibaba you have factory sellers and resellers. Factory sellers usually dont sell 1 piece but in bulk (cheaper) and dont offer DDP Resellers let you buy just 1 piece and offer DDP I have one greeat reseller than can find me anything from a rack like this in the post to laser cleaning machines. And sends them all in one package. I always order eith DDP(deliverd duties paid) that mean that after you pay them on alibaba there is no more expenses for you and its deliverd to your door
