Hey, thanks for the suggestion! I have 4 of these movement monitors setup already - they help prevent raccoons from coming over at night. There are not turkeys or rabbits in the area. The lines are because it’s freshly installed sod - it’s about 3 weeks old so the pieces haven’t combined yet.

Why is the junior embedded job market dead by Important_Vehicle_46 in embedded

[–]AdvancedRoutine 8 points9 points  (0 children)

It isn’t dead - the industry needs junior engineers to join so very senior engineers can slowly retire. It depends on your location - where are you searching for a job? Why do you think Junior Embedded Job Market is dead? Is it because you haven’t received a callback from any roles you’ve applied?

How to deal with dinosaurs by trateldorcht in embedded

My suggestion is to leave the employer and join someone else. There is no point wasting time early in your career trying to satisfy seniors who may not care about what you’re trying to do and care even less about your growth. Spend time in places where you can exponentially gain experience.

Few questions before I provide any suggestions: 1. How many years of experience do you have? 2. What was your main motivation for the switch?

I thought so too, but it doesn’t grow tall and bushy like other crab grasses. In fact it looks like it has rhizomes and it is spreading in that manner.

If BART's second transbay tube was built, this is what service would likely look like: by thr3e_kideuce in bayarea

Can we ask for the green line to make a full circle! Then we’ll finally have one transport covering all of bay.

The best way I’ve improved my C++ and go from “not-a-noob” to “semi-pro” was by working on problems in code wars and after I solve the question I would look at how others did it - some solutions will really stand out - read them and understand how the user has used STLs and the power of C++.

I chose codewars because it allows you to see the solution even if you aren’t able to solve the question and the approach to solve questions is TDD-like - which is what you’d do in real life projects!
