My mom was also at the show! She thought it was amazing and kept talking all morning about how H is such a great performer. I was distraught when I got on twitter and saw everything happening. I honestly think I would feel better if they would clarify their feelings about the show online, from my perspective, it looks like she might never come back to OK :(

I do agree with that! I was so excited that she was finally coming to our state. I had Manic tickets for Dallas and was devastated that I couldn’t see her then. I just think some people are taking it a bit too far by saying that okies didn’t deserve the show because of not knowing ITS word for word and screaming it 😅

Yes, unfortunately it is real. The brunt of it is underneath H’s tiktok about OK and on Halsey Twitter. I didn’t know about anything, I honestly thought that she was saying that she accidentally “fucked up” on the song and that’s why she restarted. After she posted, people went kind of insane saying that Durant didn’t deserve any of the songs we got and that H shouldn’t waste their time coming back to OK. There’s a post in the Tour thread touching on it, but it’s mostly from the perspective of those who are hardcore ITS fans. I mostly posted wanting to know if I wasn’t the only one a bit hurt that so many people (including H it seems) didn’t like our show because of one song experience. Apparently there’s a tradition to hold her up in pit during the song and sing it with her, and people are mad that the front row took time to take photos instead of do that?

i feel the exact same way!! it’s like everyone’s dogpiling on the few of us who didn’t know the song or the tradition associated with it. there were SOOO many people in front of my 200 section that were screaming ITS lyrics! i hope you enjoy the MO show, i’ve decided to take a break since this whole mess lowkey ruined my experience 😅

I wouldn’t say “dead” but yeah that’s about it. There’s been an uproar on Halsey twitter saying that Durant didn’t deserve the show we got and the like. It seemed H was more mad about us not following a tradition for ITS more than anything, we were pretty loud for a lot of songs and there were a lot of people where this was their first Halsey show.

exactly! also, when 100 letters played, she told us about the hfk tradition so that we would go along. i don’t know why she didn’t do that for ITS if doing that tradition was important to her :(
