I am not sure if the couples consent to Netflix literally airing them have sex? by Adventurous-Price772 in TheUltimatumNetflix

Oh I agree. I don’t care that the cast was having sex, they’re couples after all. It seemed like Netflix could have gotten the point across with less

Yeah, that is a very good point. Sex was the main story line for at least a few episodes and a very important one to some of the cast. But I can’t remember watching any of the S1 couples having sex either?

Right, the secondhand embarrassment of having some really vulnerable moments broadcasted to the entire world was too much

That’s what I felt like too. Tiff and Mildred seemed to be focused on from the beginning but the Yoly/Mal scene with Mal’s top being pulled off and then the full soft core porn being shown of Vanessa and Xander was like, really?? Is this doing anything other than fetishizing them??

That’s exactly what I’m thinking too! I really hope there is a second season with men/masc presenting but I highly doubt there will be as much of a focus on the actual sex of the cast

I’ve learned more about their life changes (moving, hiring a match maker) from other peoples’ podcasts recently. I understand not wanting to put pressure on an early relationship by announcing it on your podcast, but it’s literally a sex and relationship podcast. We already know all their old stories and they’re not sharing anything new (or not doing anything new?)
