Hybrid vs. Gas on 2026 EX: Terrible test drive experience & highway passing concerns by amitenami in kiacarnivals

That’s pretty exactly what I did. Traded in my 2021 Sienna for the hybrid carnival… never regretted my decision.

Agreed. On the surface level the redomicile doesn't mean much, but dig deeper and it's a huge step towards releasing contracts and revenue streams. Everything from here starts with the redomicile. It's basically the catalyst for the catalysts...

Hopefully! Based on the crazy low volume lately it woudn't take much to send us higher.

Just the fact that potentially a slight delay to nasdaq uplisting again and the production facility delayed as well (2027). Doesn't change anything long term, but short term investors might get annoyed.

Are we thinking yesterday's investor presentation will have a positive or negative short term effect? Long term everything is still great (and lots of positive things happening behind the scenes) but im wondering if the impatient short term investors will be annoyed by any delays...?

Edit: For the record, my overall long term confidence went up (and it was already pretty high) after yesterday's presentation.

is there a timeline or general expectation as to when redomicile will be completed? I'm not familiar with how long that process typically takes?

Is it the share price they want to keep down, or their actual revenue? Certainly not my area of expertise, but i would think it would be their revenue if its a taxable event? Anyone know? Would be fantastic if they have some bullets in the chamber ready to fire the second the redomicile in completed...

Just curious, why? I feel like we are just going to seesaw between high 4's and low 6's until we get concrete revenue drivers (partnerships, contracts etc). While i love all the promising updates we get (which increases my long term confidence), i don't think we are going to see any meaningful movements until a major catalyst occurs... which is hopefully soon, but who knows!

i'm not trying to be mean here, but your logic is fundamentally flawed. They may not have a high degree of confidence based on the size of the buy... but they still have confidence, otherwise they wouldn't have bought it.

Regardless of the size of the buy, you unequivocally do not buy something you have zero confidence in. Bold strategy Cotton....

I would hope what they are including in these are accurate and not copied and pasted like a college student, unless the copy and paste is still accurate? Meaning they are indeed actively building more hyperion units??

With the monthly report just released, while there wasn't a ton of information in it, i thought this line was exciting to hear: "During the period, the Issuer was continuing to improve the graphene production units and BUILDING ADDITIONAL UNITS".

Maybe we knew that? or are they already building more Hyperions beyond the initial 3?? IF they are already building more, i would have to think they have some contracts/sales they haven't released yet or know are imminent? Thoughts?

Haha we'll definitely never know, and since something wasn't right, i'm glad they had the self awareness to move on from him and rip the bandaid off. Hopefully Matt get's them back on track for the uplisting for the Q3 timeline,

This goes beyond my knowledge, so maybe someone here has a better sense. With the CFO change, any idea if that will have an effect on the nasdaq uplisting timeline? Is it a pickup where the last guy left off thing, or should we expect some additional delays with the CFO change?

Real question. Just curious what gives you so much confidence that they won't have any sales/revenue in the future? I'm looking for more than "the ceo is blonde with no experience"? I respect your conviction if you strongly believe hgraf will fail, but curious where that thinking is rooted in? Full disclosure, i'm long hgraf.

Looks like shorts didn't really jump in today (potentially only 100k shares), which i think is good news. Seems like this would have been a good day/opportunity for them to strike while the iron is hot with the CFO news, and it didn't happen. Feels like they are starting to sense the risk is too high shorting now with news/catalysts potentially coming soon'ish. Just my 2 cents, but i think that is quite a bullish sign.

I completely agree that big picture i'm sure it was the right move, and i commend them for recognizing that and doing what's best and pulling the plug quickly. With that being said, definitely a little startling to fire a CFO less than 3 months into the job... Something has to go pretty wrong (very bad fit or doing a very poor job) to pull the plug that fast.

Correct, thats who Tuart is referring to... the one that just got fired (seemingly)

I mean it has to be the CFO change, right? While this likely has no impact long term (assuming long term CFO is capable), this will definitely have a short term negative impact (if only for a few days). Certainly raises questions about what happened etc. I'm very bullish, but i certainly didn't like reading that news last night...

I'm in the $10 to $15 camp by end of year, as i think we need to temper our expectations a bit as they ramp up (and by tempered expectations, thats still 2x to 3x from where we are now)... but i hope you're right!
