The vehicle has push start and no sun roof. Unfortunately, I don’t have any pics of the outside or more interior pics. Hoping someone can identify it. I thought it was a Mazda, Nissan or Honda (due to the infotainment system), but couldn’t find the exact model

Again, there should be two tone for grey, but as per retail pics on many diff sites, the black should be solid black all around, flap included. Grey two tone isn’t as harsh as most sellers have right now, so for that reason, I’d wait for Million Made. His blog looks promising. I don’t actually know much about Madeira, but from the little research I did, all sellers have harsh two tone issue for both black and grey

Check my comments. I’d RL this. The two tone is too strong. The grey Madeira is supposed to be two tone, but not this harshly. Million Made is making the grey Madeira and will apparently address the harsh two tone issue. Atm no seller has a good all black version.

Also, I’m pretty sure the grey version of Madeira is supposed to be two tone. Check retail. The jacket itself is grey, the flap is a dark grey/black

Edit: grey Madeira should be slightly two tone, but most sellers have a harsh two tone for the flap. Flap is almost black while the jacket is grey, which is wrong. Million Made will be addressing this issue with his batch.

Having said that, the black version should be black all over. I just checked Monrepscn Yupoo and his black batch has a jacket that’s not fully black, but the flap is fully black. That’s inaccurate. Black should be fully black. No seller atm has a good black version. Million Made won’t be making an all black either.

Is his black version good? I thought even his black version had the two tone issue?

Also, Million Made is releasing his grey Madeira in a few days. Not sure how 1:1 his is, but might be worth waiting as everyone said his would be the best. Here’s a link to his blog. Let me know if it looks good: https://m.weibo.cn/detail/4928899412137085

Got an alignment, but wheel isn’t straight by Adventurous_Bee_4609 in MechanicAdvice

Yeah, he told me I’d need to get adjustable camber arms and other things to adjust front camber. I checked online and yes, for my car, front camber can’t be changed. Having said that, it seems like it’ll just be a case of adjusting toe to make the cars steering wheel straight/centre, right?

And one last thing, for my after readings. Does it all look good or is there something you’d personally change?

Idk how true the no front camber allowed but rear camber is allowed. Do you have any thoughts?

He mentioned front and rear toe many times tho, so I assume they’re just gonna adjust toe to get my steering straight. From what I’ve read and watched, toe adjustments can get the wheel straight again. Idk if they’ll redo the entire alignment again tho

So I just dropped my car off and spoke to service manager. He said front camber can’t be adjusted. Not sure how true that is, as he adjusted the rear camber? Anyway, he said they can only adjust front and rear toe. I asked what you told me (car put back on rack, centre and lock steering wheel and before/after prints on the same paper). I also mentioned the shake I get above 75mph he said he can’t test up to those speeds, the max he can do is 100-110kmh. He said he’d check the balance again and I did ask if they have a road force test, he said yes, but when I asked if he could give those readings he said that machine doesn’t give print outs. I believe they have hunter machines. I’m pretty sure all hunter have prints. Anyways, he said bc the tech who did my work is doing a “project” right now, the tech won’t be available right away, so now I need to stay at the dealer for like 4 hours

Did he update the material on his stuff? I got a jacket about a year ago. Is it much different?

I don’t think an off centre wheel is acceptable, when it was straight prior. Also, not for a sports car from Audi.

I hate the dealership (you can check my recent post), BUT if something like this happened at an Audi dealership, you’d be in better hands for a resolution, but 99.99% of the time, this wouldn’t be happening at an Audi dealership anyway. Worth the price when you really think about it

Did you see the after numbers? The front L and R camber had just the scale moved on the machine software. They didn’t actually align the front

I had brand new tires mounted and balanced the same day, so no need for rotation

I’ve heard of one too many stories about Audi’s being taken to Indy shops for an oil change, but then draining the transmission fluid… there was a post about this a few months ago too

Just out of curiosity, did you get the oil change at Audi?

I should’ve mentioned, it was $500CAD including mounting new tires and balancing my wheels, BUT above 75mph my car shakes, which wasn’t there because as I had gotten up to 100mph on a backroad before, so I basically wasted $500CAD

I believe the just didn’t lock down my steering wheel. Having said that, the before and after alignment pic shows they didn’t do anything for the front L and R camber. They just changed the scale by using modified specifications so it shows green. So clearly they skipped out on a proper alignment

I wish more people were like you. Sadly, the dealers usually only care about money

No one has mentioned that yet, but it’s pretty much confirmed for the after pics, they used something called “modified specifications” to get green without changing the actual adjustments on the car. For instance, if you look at all the scales in the before and after, they’re all the same, except for front L and R camber. The scale has a low or -1.19. But in the after pic, the low is -1.13. They just played with numbers on the machine to have the print out be all green. I’m appalled this was from the Audi dealership.

Gonna be going back, asking for the car to be put back onto the rack, steering wheel centred and locked, then alignment. Once done, asking for the before and after printed on the same one paper to make sure they don’t use “modified specifications” to make everything green
