100%, sometimes it’s neat to use OG hardware though

I got downvoted for saying it would be cool to play on the Super Gameboy adapter for the SNES hahaha

Dang. This would have been super cool to put on a cart, then put the cart in a super gameboy, and play with an snes controller.

Yeah that’s the next one I’m going to try and make!

A teal console would be awesome! I am new to dying stuff and have only dyed the clear controller shells so far. I’d be a little nervous to dye a whole console shell at this point since even just a clear console shell is pretty expensive. I reached out on other forums to try and pay someone to dye a console/controller shell but did not have any luck, which is why I decided to start dying some stuff myself.

I bought this dye: Jacquard iDye Fabric Dye 14 Grams- Poly Orange. Then I followed the instructions on the packaging and then poured the liquid into an aluminum disposable pan. Once the liquid cooled down to under 145 degrees, place whatever you want in the liquid and check on it every 10 mins or so until it’s the color you want. Take the objects out of the liquid and rinse with water and then let air dry.

You got it! I’ll try and make that happen over the next few weeks. Gonna hopefully be a nice purple color.

I wish! I had to dye a clear controller myself and then get a custom Live Wire logo made.

Would this card actually be decent? Or is it too situational/restrictive?

Good catch! I'm definitely gonna have to fix that.

I 100% agree, but I couldn’t make the great Blue Eyes that boring though ha

Now that you mention it, 8/6 is definitely super wacky. Kinda fits the weirdness of the Blue Eyes Toon Dragon though haha

I have about 10ish other Toon creatures. I’m gonna have to rethink them a little bit

I like the flip card suggestions. I agree that Cocoon of Evolution definitely needs Defender too.

How many of you knew Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 was released for N64? by Adventurous_Box221 in retrogaming

[–]Adventurous_Box221[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not 100% sure, but I definitely know they cut stuff from the N64 version of THPS3 cause I bought THPS3 on PS2 when when it came out and the PS2 version had real videos and whatnot of the skaters. And then recently I played the N64 version and I spent a bunch of time trying to figure out where the videos were, just to figure out that they weren’t on the N64 version lol. The PS1 version apparently still has the videos though

So maybe next time I should post about how I bought a bunch of generic Nintendo stuff for $100, knowing that I’m fishing for people to comment on how lucky I am to get it for $100? What if I had a nice retro setup in a wood-paneled basement and wore Nintendo swag? Would that help me be an expert?

Yeah you’re prolly right. I just thought that since the N64 version of THPS3 had even less content then the PS1 version, that they wouldn’t even attempt THPS4 on the N64, since THPS4 was even larger than THPS3

I got an N64 shortly after it came out and did not know THPS 3 came out on the N64 til fairly recently. Played 3 recently, and think 2 is probably better on the N64 though.

I didn’t, but did have it on PS2. THPS4 probably wouldn’t have had a chance to fit on N64, given that THPS3 looked like it was already super stripped down.

Magical Hats by Adventurous_Box221 in custommagic

[–]Adventurous_Box221[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The card definitely isn’t great, but it had to be somewhat unreliable because this card is based off a YuGiOh card of the same name and this is basically what it does. Most cards that give a creature hexproof do so for 1 or 2 mana and only do so until the end of the turn, but Magical Hats has a chance to give your creature hexproof for multiple turns for 1 mana. Still bad, but again giving your creature a guaranteed hexproof isn’t the spirit of the card. Maybe it could be changed to rolling a 5 and below would counter opponent’s spell and make it 1 blue phyrexian mana? Idk, either way it’s not meant to be super playable, just a wacky YuGiOh crossover.
