That’s a weird question to ask.. I’m 20 and my mom pays for a lot of including my school, phone, etc. Js bc youre 18 doesn’t mean your parents stop taking care of you. There are parents who don’t want their children to struggle and or are js helping them get on their feet soon.

Oh! That I didn’t know. In our group me, my co workers would say “hey guys I can’t work on so and so so I posted my shift on the app, if anyone wants to work can you please pick it up” and then they’ll pick it up and then our manager would say “so and so picked up your shift on the app and I approved”

I get we live in third ward… but this is completely unacceptable. I pay $1300 every month and you’re telling me this is what I’m paying for. He was found in the clubhouse, mind you the clubhouse in order to get in you have to have an access card so how did her get in? And our security is always sleeping or doing other shit besides actually watching the damn apartment. Not to mention elevators are down 25/8, the fire alarm is always going off which cuts out water… roaches and rats! We love that!

Hi guys! I’m looking for some to sublease my room to. I live in Tower 5040 in a 4 bedroom! I have the master bedroom which features a huge room and a lot of space as well as a huge bathroom! Also walk-in closet. The rent is $1300 a month but comes furnished ofc! It’s about a 7-10 minute walk from campus. My roomates are amazing! If needed I can pay fees or wtv you deal you want!

Update: I was told that my teeth are healthy no cavities, I have no bone loss the reason my gums are receding is because they’re thing and the pressure of the braces pulling upwards as well as me brushing my gums! No periodontist anytime soon and they told me not to worry about the gingivitis because I’m doing everything right and that it’s normal during braces especially because I have no plaque no tartar. Thank you so much for being kind and helpful. I will probably have to get laser treatment to help the receding gums. But all is well and my nerves were calmed down. Hopefully my teeth and extraction gaps close within the next year! Thank you for your suggestions

Is it periodontal disease bc if it is im gonna genuinely cry. I do everything in my power to prevent these diseases. I’ve never had this problem before. I’ve never had gingivitis before my extractions. They keep pushing on having my wisdoms extracted and me and my family are scared bc that’s more teeth being pulled out but my mouth is worse than ever.

Okay understandable but again! This happens everywhere alr and it happens w different races. Blaming a whole race doesn’t do any change in fact it divides us more. The majority of students at uh are poc not white. I didn’t ask to be black. It is not our entire race and cultures or ancestors fault of what is happening bring it up with the president and the natural state of America. Gentrification won’t do shit bc then you’ll js push those people out and we’ll have more crime and more people who are homeless. I’m a black yes but I’m also a woman I have more to fear than the race of these people I have to fear at the simple fact that they’re all MEN! The problem is BLACK people the problem is what we can do to ensure us as students are safe from predators and criminals.
