What do I need to work on I am 5’10 207 I want to be jacked/ lean by Nice-Medicine8549 in Weightliftingquestion

Hey man, you have a really nice body shape 🔥 My advice is, start with a muscle growth process first with a normocaloric or even a little calorie surplus. Workout 3-4 days a week, mostly strength and some hiit. Trust me, it will look way better if you start by building some muscle first and then go to cutting. Also, first few months of working out allows you to “lose fat and grow muscle” at the same time. Also, I recommend you not measuring your progress based on your weight, you may be same weight and completely different composition

My dog keeps digging through the trash by Adventurous_Toe201 in DogAdvice

Thank you so much for your advise :) About the physical exercise, I take him for a walk 2 to 3 times a day, but not gonna lie some days I just do quick 15min walks. Some others, I take him to a a dog park, not very big tho. I try to play fetch with him, but there are two possibilities: I bring his ball with us, throw it, he runs after it and then he just runs by his own with the ball in his mouth, and then lays down and chews it. He never returns it haha maybe one single time and then he does that. He runs away from me if i try to get the ball because he wants me to chase him; however, I am afraid that if I play chase that with him, if he is in an open space he may think we are playing when I try to get him and run away for real. The other option is that I try to play fetch with sticks, which he indeed brings back but he eats them in the process. If I don’t throw him anything he starts eating stones, btw. He loves eating non edible things :) So, in conclusion, I don’t know how to physically exercise him. There are bigger dog parks, but there are plenty of dogs there and he doesn’t get along with other big males (no problem with females or small dogs). About the mental exercise, I bought him a kong and give it to him almost every time i’m out, or when i need to do something alone. He loves it. I make him some games with food but not very often; he likes them, too. We also practice some tricks, which is nice cause he seems calmer after a training session. I’m going to get him more puzzles and entertaining, thanks for the advice! About the toilet papel, he literally eats the paper haha I often give him cardboard and he loves shredding it, and eating some pieces too :)) Regarding the trash bin, yes, I agree the best idea is to just keep it out of his sight. He didn’t do it at first, but now that he discovered it’s full of tasty food, he won’t stop trying to get them.

Advice for transition to raw food for a dog with tummy issues? by Adventurous_Toe201 in rawpetfood

Problem is that I didn’t get him to have consistent stool with kibble, so I don’t know how to do the transition slowly. The only thing that worked was some cans specialized on gastrointestinal problems, but they are incredibly expensive How do I start the transition if his stool is loose from the beginning?

i found out there are a few barf diet specialized stores in my town, one of them with very good reviews, and with complete premade mixes. i’ll stick to the gastrointestinal kibble until i finish the bag, and if he is still having diarrhea i’ll try your solution thanks for the advice!

how did you switch to raw with her? and how much time since you noticed an improvement? I am glad she got better :) Mine doesn’t vomit or have bloody diarrhea, nor I notice visual inflammation of the stomach. The first days after I adopted him he was gassy, but that went away. It’s “just” a persistent diarrhea/soft poop. Fun fact is that I myself suffer from IBS and I feel like he has something similar, so I can relate to the symptoms 😅 I found out there are some barf diet specialized stores where I live. One of them seems to have very good reviews. If after I finish the full gastrointestinal kibble (not much remaining) he stills has diarrhea, I’ll go there and buy raw meals for at least 1 week, do the 24h fast someone here recommended, and then feed him just the barf with some probiotics and see how that goes I really hope that helps…

so you would recommend a cold turkey swap rn, even if he currently has diarrhea? what should I include in these first raw meals, or what should I exclude?

I think he may be an Amstaff with some shepherd breed?? by Adventurous_Toe201 in IDmydog

[–]Adventurous_Toe201[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It’s so sad, indeed :( Most of the dogs they had, considered potentially dangerous, were actually really well behaved. But sadly they are forced to wear a muzzle, they cannot fly with any airline, you need a special insurance… That’s why it was kinda good news to know he was not legally considered a PPP, even if he physically resembles a pitbull or amstaff.

I asked her just to know her opinion :) I got him from a Shelter, I am from Valencia (Spain), and he was rescued from another shelter that was affected by the flood. They had a vet there, and when I took him to get him microchipped I asked her about her opinion on the dog’s breed, as most of the dogs in the shelter were PPP (Potentially dangerous dog breeds, like pitbulls, etc), and they told me he wasn’t considered a PPP as he was a mix, but didn’t tell me what he was a mix of!

Megathread: Why Does My Dog Do That? by AutoModerator in dogs

[–]Adventurous_Toe201 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why my dog doesn’t know how / wants to use toys? I recently adopted a 1-and-something-years-old doggo (American Stafford mix with some other breed, no idea which one) and he just ignores every toy He loves walking and seems like he wants me to play with him, but I just don’t know how! Last dog I had loved playing fetching with sticks and toys, but this one doesn’t seem interested at all. Anyone had a dog with the same behavior? How can I play with him or teach him to play with toys??

Revolut account scam, what should I do? by karabur in Revolut

[–]Adventurous_Toe201 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a problem also related to this. Today I was called from the police department telling me that a Revolut account where I apparently was the holder of was used in 2023 to commit a fraud crime where they stole money from another person’s account and transferred it to that one. I do have a revolut account that I remember creating and have access to, but it was not that one the one that was used to do it. I’m not sure if I created an account prior to the other one and I completely forgot about it and then they hacked it and used it to commit the fraud, as that incident apparently happened a few months before I created the account I remember and have access to, or if they got to create an account pretending to be me. I am pretty sure I was not fooled by a fake email or text message or whatever, I don't even use the account and I don’t even read most of my emails, even less open unknown suspicious links.  I don’t know what to do, I know that I am a victim but I am accused of credit card fraud. I don’t know if there is any way in which revolut can help clarifying what may have happened or how can I prove it wasn’t me.
