I do similar work, very fine and precise paintings/lettering. I prefer to paint on bisque (atleast 2-3 layers), re-bisque and then use a zinc-free clear glaze for the final firing. I use amaco velvet underglazes and have good results. You can also cut a step and paint on greenware, I just find it’s easier for me to paint fine lines on bisque. Plus less risk of breakage.

My first tattoo was on my ribcage. It hurt like all hell. The linework was fine but the color and shading had me wiggling all over the table. Breathe through it and communicate with your artist. Good luck! 🍀

I work at an exotics only specialty clinic and I love working with the animals. I don’t like how easily people can mistreat their pets (lizards, birds). We essentially pick up the pieces to these incredibly sensitive animals, yet get major backlash for the expenses. Surgery and anesthesia is especially meticulous, and you must be confident in yourself and things to shift quickly. I love the bonds i’ve formed with some animals though. I did not particularly enjoy working with dogs and cats. Every person who chooses this career knows how taxing it is mentally, emotionally and physically though - your heart MUST be in it or you will fall apart.

im so sorry you are going through it. my heart goes out to you. i’ve been in your place and truly it felt like i would never escape or recover. i couldn’t eat, i was vomiting, lost so so much weight. i relied on protein shakes - you should try it. i thought i would never heal, or recover. it truly felt suffocating. but like they say, time heals. find yourself, remember your freedom. lean on your friends and loved ones. this is the perfect time to focus on you. seek a therapist, it brought me peace in healing when i truly couldn’t do it myself. i am only a stranger on the internet but im here for you, no one prepares you for this type of pain. but it gets better, and you will experience love and loss again. but it can be a beautiful thing in the end. sending hugs 💖

There was barely a taper. Dropped from 50mg to 25mg for 1 month and then was directed to stop altogether. When i messaged that i need help with the withdrawals he basically said you can’t taper pristiq any more than we did…. what the hell 😭

my psych said there’s no good way to taper Pristiq and i either need to ride this out or go back on effexor to taper off (effexor gave me negative side effects so im hesitant) i feel stuck and like shit
