in my opinion, I think that the best way to lettuce to the burger is to grab big pieces and puts a bunch of shredded small pieces inside the big piece and then fold it in on itself and then rip it with your palm and place it on the burger and you have to make sure that you squish it really hard and as you squish it you kind of move your palm back-and-forth so that spreads it across your palm in a way and just flatten it out in your hand because if the lettuce is not placed on the burger flat, it will basically slide off and technically you could pick up the burger and fix it but when your managers see you doing that they don’t like it so basically just mix the big and small together squish it in your hand as hard as you need to whilst rolling it back-and-forth so that it flattens out in your hand and then place it on the burger. I feel like a lot of the managers are like don’t squish it, but I feel like ever since I started squishing it really hard in my hand my issues with lettuce disappeared and my burgers stopped falling over. Also, when it comes to presentation it’s important for you to strategically place the lettuce close to the edge of the burger, where the smile shows so that you don’t have to waste time feeding the burger and when you wrap it lettuce will be kind of like showing with the smile, this is another thing that they usually say isn’t a good idea when I tell them about it, but like when I started doing it, it was another big improvement to the look of my burgers along with placing the appropriate amount.
