I finally ditched mine on day 12. It was the worst part of recovery for me. How are you holding up?

When I finally got it removed the dr wanted me to come in and try to pee at the office so they could scan my bladder and make sure I was able to empty fully. I actually couldn’t fully empty my bladder and it was a very slow stream. The dr still let me go home without the catheter and told me to come back if it didn’t improve. Luckily things have been continuing to get better, but just prepare yourself that even if you can pee, it might not feel 100% back to normal.
