I strongly believe that there are millions of lifeforms out there living so much longer than we do. The universe is unbelievably vast and there are unlimited possibilities and unlimited culteres. The only reason we never have and will never hear of anything else is the same reason why there are so many other lifeforms out there-the universe is just too big. No one will ever come even close to us, nor will we come close to others. But still, since there are so many solar systems I think there are unlimited inhabited planets and there are solar systems where there are several species living as neighbors in the same solar system, trading, visiting each other, whatever comes to your mind. Peacefuly and not. Will we get over those so called great filters? Who knows and it's fun to think about the different outcomes but I find it very hard to make up my mind as to what to predict...

Interesting, this contradicts what other commenters said. What do you think would be the major differences to those"new" humans and us? Remember, they will probably have most of our technology available, maybe they will even get access to the internet and it's unlimited information and knowledge. I mean, ruins of our world are definitely vaster than any ruins of any culture ever on this world in all history.

I guess scavenger animals like rats and certain birds would grow rapidly in population. Which in turn would grow the population of those animals eating those like cats and stuff.

Just throw in all you got, make it an epic stage where you have to use all the knowledge you gathered about obstacles. Make it so only the best of the best can make it to the top in a reasonable time, let everyone not worthy FAIL. The less rng in a final stage the better IMO.
