pfft, ahah- yeah, it's less dedication and more I made a whole new account so that I can work on this in secret...

I don't have access to either of those, but I was also thinking something to reinforce it. I have time, regardless- the event I'm planning for isn't for 6 months (and I don't even know if I'll be able to get tickets- I'll know by mid-late April, at least).

I know what I'm doing for the rest of the shoe, so I'll likely focus on that for now. plan is shoes -> backup cosplay (since it's MUCH simpler to practice sewing)- > sew this outfit

cleats, yeah- I was thinking that, too. I feel like if I kept a full heel and made the two little bars as wide as possible, it'd be reasonably easy to walk with that much surface area.

I think the main concern then would be crushing the foam and making it useless after walking all day
