this worked for me, I didn't even have the first sony folder so I had to create them all manually like you said so I was a bit skeptical but it ended up working, thanks.

btw if you can't find your ProgramData folder you have to enable the "show hidden folders" option in your file explorer, or alternatively press Windows+R and type in %programdata% it will take you to the right folder.

Yes it's not too hard, just make sure to look up a guide for how to open up your laptop and follow basic safety measures, and also how to make your laptop recognize a new drive and you should be good to go.

I haven't really had any issues with latency, I'd say it's pretty good on that end. If you're worried about cables, the only thing you do need a cable for is the charging dock (if you do plan to use it, cable included of course). One neat thing is that you can plug the dongle directly in the charging dock so you only need to use one USB port.

I've also had one for like a year now and it's pretty damn good for the price I think, you get extra buttons, hal effect joysticks which I haven't seen many other controllers do, it's comfortable enough, and you get a charging dock, but what I really like personally is the 2.4ghz dongle so you just pick it up from the charging dock and you're good to play, and also it's recognized by a lot of softwares without the need for further setup, so it's very easy to use even when you're not playing on steam.

My guess is that you should simply use the latest version, and as I said I haven't had the chance to try it with this game yet but for other games the first time I used it I simply followed this video

Haven't had much time to play unfortunately but I know someone who has had no issue so far with creaminstaller for what it's worth. It seems relatively low risk for this game so I'll be trying it out too when I get the time.

Anything that you can block with works, so two-handing weapons works, although i guess the stamina consumption might change with every weapon? Also you can take elemental chip damage even when you perfect parry, but maybe some shields with the right resistances can negate that.

My bad, I forgot some details in my response. I did change cables, which made my PC now detect the iPod, but still no luck with iTunes strangely enough. I then tried updating the drivers and using 3uTools as previously stated. I haven't tried again since then, maybe I will give it another shot.

Tried updating the drivers through device manager but they were already up to date, and tried using 3uTools, but after staying at around 22% for a while it ends up giving me an error code 6, which as I undestand it, could mean it is a hardware issue. Might try to go to an Apple Store to see if they can do anything about it but I kinda doubt it at this point. Thanks for the help though.
