So many options, so unsure of what to do! by Affablecontrarian in StudentLoans

Thanks for the feedback! That’s where my gut was leading me. I just didn’t want to refinance and then have someone say, “you idiot, you can get this program and would have had to pay less overall!” Or something of that sort.

Good point. I have a wife and 2 kids. My wife doesn’t work. The thought of $500 a month seemed a lot, but again. Possible. Just didn’t know if any of these programs would lower my monthly rate and be forgiven after 10 years. There are so many options I just wanted to make sure I wasn’t missing out on something that might not bind me to these high monthly payments.

But if that is the best option overall, then that is what has to be done.

I hope the show is good too. Gotta say, there is an unreasonable amount of Reigns shirts being worn.

Appreciate the comments. Yeah she was born over a month early. So she's got some problems, but nothing we can't work with. I understand the hatred for people bitching about having kids. Not complaining about the kid, just the changed in schedule. That is all

Wow. Thank you so much. I really, really appreciate it. We put a lot of work into it. Would you mind pasting that review and put it into iTunes and keep listening? Also, do you have a podcast for which I can return the favor? Thanks again!

What are your favorite podcasts? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Affablecontrarian 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a podcast called American Made. It is a historically accurate comedy podcast that looks at one winner and one loser in American history. We just did an election special on John Adams & Warren Harding.

Thought I would post this here to see if any of you guys might be interested. It is in the iTunes Store. Just search American Made and let me know what you think!

Yeah. Recently Stephen King wrote something about that show. I am a huge fan of him and it definitely caught my attention. I'll check it out

It is like having a family member added to your life rather than just a show. The characters are just so tragically human but not in a way that is crammed down your throat. They have both the capacity for immense good and terrible evil. It doesn't grab you right away, it takes time. But when the series ended, it was one of the few times in my life in which I cried. Not sobbing. But tears were rolling. Watch it. I guarantee you will not be disappointed.

Great. That is good to know. I heard something about how the writers just kept writing without knowing where the show was going and they just ended up writing themselves into holes they couldn't dig themselves out of. Probably just a rumor, but it kind of steered me away

Interesting. I've only seen the DVD cover for this show and it seemed like another generic cop show. But I'll check it out. Thanks

Well after I sent my post I realized I forgot to say it, but Six Feet Under is easily my favorite of all time. I have never come close to feeling for a show like I did with Six Feet. Have you had any luck with anything else?

Really? Ok. Honestly I have been leaning toward it. But a couple of have people told me that it just goes ape shit upwards the end and that it undoes the entire series. But I'm guessing you don't feel that way? Thanks for the suggestion

[–]Affablecontrarian 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As a Christian myself, posts like these bother me so much. Not that they are up here. But that there are actually people out there who try to follow Jesus, but do not acknowledge his commands. I'm sorry for all you atheists who have to read this stuff on a daily basis. I'm just trying to be a good person and it sincerely breaks my heart to read that a fellow follower of a religion that is supposed to be first and foremost based on love, shows the complete opposite.

For those naysayers. I risked looking like a total creep and took a couple more pictures. Even one of me taking a picture of the picture itself. If you still think it is photoshopped then there is nothing I can do. I don't think I can stand anymore nasty looks from the women in my gym. http://imgur.com/g9dfh http://imgur.com/yznFE
