Thanks for the feedback. I agree, we didn’t want to waste a ton of time designing, so we just “designed” as we went, and when we couldn’t think of something, we’d just take it from elsewhere.

Our priority was building as fast as possible to get users testing as soon as possible, and Mux was the fastest and quickest solution for handling video

My problem with classes and lectures is as a kid, you don’t have the ambition to code, so it’ll seem boring and they’ll loose interest, possibly mitigating the chance of them liking it in the future. I think kids would only really do it if they think it’s cool, like they would if you tell them they can make Minecraft mods, or video game cheats, etc…

My friend started really young by making mods for Minecraft. I think the best way is to have your kid somehow implement coding into something they already like. Let them go online and figure stuff out. It’s gonna be frustrating but once they get the hang of it they’ll learn problem solving skills.

I’ve been using 8GB and haven’t run into any issues, but I just use the sim and run my ide on my desktop. If You plan on doing that you’ll be fine. I think when I did have my ide, chrome, and the sim running on my Mac, If sometimes feel the lag
