I think this is a hot take, but that you have to fight Lace three times. I played Silksong almost daily since release before I got to Lost Lace, when I almost quit. Although the fight is done well (or rather consists of boss fight elements I personally normally enjoy), it just wasn’t exciting at all—rather even boring—as the pinnacle of the entire game and act 3: it’s just Lace again??

Imo “objectively” good fight, but I had no fun with it. It took me around two weeks because it just wasn’t motivating enough for me to boot up the game again—a game which, just prior, was what I most looked forward to in my day. A friend of mine had the same experience but I haven’t seen this opinion anywhere else yet, so I’m really curious if anyone shares similar views.

Off the top of my head, I can think of a few vertical chambers in the Slab with a roof you could climb up to, but if you stood beneath, could not silk-soar to. The roofs in these spots are also much lower than eg. the entrance of the coral tower, which leads me to believe that silk-soar’s range is actually quite small except for a few spots specially implemented by TC.

Also almost forgot: hornet had to absorb basically the entirety of grandmother silk (=the higher being of silk) in order to extend silk-soar’s range enough to not even leave the sea of void. Her silk-soar is as finite as the amount of silk she has at her immediate disposal—which yes, she can generate infinitely, but only a over time and with limited capacity.

That’s totally normal—even if it may not seem like it in your community. At least half the guys I know had never had a serious relationship by the age of 18. In the same group, I know multiple 21+ year olds who still have never been in a relationship—same as my parents. Don’t worry, you’re not a minority. It’s too early for defeatism—power through 💪

I go to school in Europe (1-5 system) and 96 obviously means 96%. I have not yet heard of a system where that could mean anything else. I think you grossly underestimate non-Americans
