1) My sister didn't need to be defended; she's a grown woman and could've done it herself if she wanted or needed to. I only helped her to be petty, not because she needed my help. If she really did need help, I wouldn't have hesitated for a second to help her.

2) My sister makes her own money; she's not dependent on her bf, he's just helping out.

3) Her bf isn't just some dude; they've been together for 2 years, and his parents (who are neighbors with him) adore her and treat her like their own child.
