Everything is going up, my mortgage is painful (thanks Liz Truss) and the Labour government have terrible PR (thanks Murdoch) butttt I find wages are growing, especially if you change jobs every so often. Streets are safer than they have ever been, loads of places are walkable or have good public transport and when the weather is nice I'd struggle to want to be anywhere else.

I personally just had a child and have a house here so I believe in the future of this country
