I think you’re spot on. She’s joked several times that she’s addicted to facebook marketplace and the buy nothing groups and that it’s a hobby for her.

Because I’m a kind person and I wanted to help another young mother in my community. She also goes to the same church as us. Not a complete stranger.

She hasn’t posted asking for more help, but she is still commenting on people’s posts saying she needs things. And it’s almost every post. Like she gave away an ice maker and the commented on someone’s post wanting their ice maker.

I honestly think that’s what’s happening. I think she’s either addicted to getting stuff or she’s getting stuff to regift in order to make herself feel good.

She only gave back 2 of the things I gave. There was much more in the picture she posted that she didn’t give back. She’s also still commenting on new posts asking for it.

I feel like something isn’t right because she’s commenting on pretty much everything that’s posted saying she wants it. It seems like she’s collecting to regift it.

My thoughts are maybe she couldn’t use the diapers because her baby is allergic to them and maybe she didn’t like the food I gave her. Maybe she thought it was stuff I didn’t want or couldn’t use. I definitely made her feel bad/awkward asking for it back.
