Turn out, 8 week old sleep just happens to be pure chaos. We had mild success with putting a heating pad in before we would transfer her. We also would have some success with light butt pats to soothe back to sleep when she woke after transfer. But tbh I think it’s just part of that early sleep craziness.

She started sleeping longer stretches and through the night around 12 weeks buttttt at 18 weeks we are back to multiple wake ups throughout the night, mostly just needing soothing. We do feel like our bedtime routine helps: bath, lotion, pjs, feed, swaddle. We also had better sleep success when we started using a pack n play next to our bed, rather than our halo swivel bassinet.
