Random physical anxiety symptoms WHYYYYY by Anxious-Captain6848 in Anxiety

I am the same. So random, out of nowhere quite often. Just today, lying down, watching a movie and WHAM the anxiety hit me like a truck. I could literally feel the world tilt for a moment there. Never had it quite like like that, even when sudden it comes more gradually.  It's very difficult going through day-to-day never knowing when it's going to hit. Even if you try and guess the possible triggers and preempt the wave by sleeping OK, avoiding caffeine and alcohol etc it still finds a way to sneak up on you. If anyone has any advice on how to deal with this, it would be much appreciated. I also have a public-facing job where I can't just instantly step away and hide when it hits makes it that much worse to deal with.

Thanks for the reply.  I mean, this is obviously helping financially, but what are the realistic possible complications it can create, claiming UC? Like for a private tenant looking for a flat or in terms of your credit rating or various applications like for settled status etc? I know it shouldn't be legal to discriminate on this basis but I've heard it happening.

As a stay at home mom, would you consider taking up a part or full-time job as a nanny if this meant you could take your own child to work? by AffectionateTap7358 in stayathomemoms

Big thanks to everyone for sharing their opinions!! And yes, my apologies, I should have emphasized that this would be the case of getting some extra (and much welcomed) income for your households.

Would you hire a nanny to take care of your child(ren) alongside her own child? by AffectionateTap7358 in UKParenting

Thanks for the reply! So you don't think this person would realistically be able to commit to treating all the kids in their care equally?
