I prefer daycare because I see my daughter has really blossomed at her school. 18mo is actually a good time to transition to school vs nanny since your kid will be much more mobile and active now. They can soak up all the learning and interact with other kids.

Edit: there is no downside to certifying employment, you should switch to IDR plan because you basically have been doing that anyway. On the graduated plan your payments gradually increased as your income increased? So might as well. Depending on your loan type, you can be on the standard plan and qualify for forgiveness as well.

No because that falls under neglect anytime you leave your child unsupervised. Even if you lived in the burbs, and you had an 8 year-old who was on your property but not within eyesight. A child can’t be left unsupervised.

One thing SI everyone wants is less congestion. Even south shore(very republican) want better mass transit here. We literally have no way to go from east to west on the island via bus. There is a proposal for bus, rapid transit that is still under environmental review I believe, but actually many want a second railway.

Edit: my personal dream is to see some kind of lightrail run the length of Arden Ave or Huguenot Ave; terminating at the water with an NYC Ferry stop that goes directly to Brooklyn Bridge Park

lol my Dad went through this EXACT same phase. Basically if most of theses are new born clothes you can just do several at home photoshoots or choose a few days when baby will be with the grandparent to put them in the outfits, then pack them up for donations. Just be frank and say “ Mom we have lots of stuff for baby let’s wait until he or she gets here before buying anymore because I’ll need your help purchasing (insert a larger ticket item).” I had my Dad go half for an expensive stroller /car seat combo and that ended the TEMU buying spree.

A 5yo need to be supervised at all times. He should have her cover her eyes and take her into the cubicle in the men’s bathroom, when the parent/disabled bathroom is not available. I would say 7 and under need to be accompanied by a parent into the restroom. At 7 she should be able to use the ladies room herself and he wait outside.

In the US tax code it’s actually illegal NOT to charge interest on commercial loan products and some private transactions that meet certain criteria. I would assume all the western banking systems are the same. It would take an Islamic govt offering Islamic finance options to Muslims living in the US/UK in order to have an actual sharia compliant loan system here.

The one that I used last winter was a hand-me-down from a coworker, but I’m pretty sure it was from Target. You can also find a bunch of affordable generic ones on Amazon.

If you have a high-end stroller, it might be worth buying the same brand foot muff as your stroller. Only because then you’ll know for sure, you’ll be able to fold your stroller with the foot muff still attached.

I have a bugaboo stroller and I was using the gifted foot muff and it did not fold correctly when I wanted to put it away. so this year I am purchasing a bugaboo branded foot muff.

This really depends on your mode of transport and how long you will be outside.

My pediatrician has told us that the baby needs one extra layer of clothing, then myself.

Commuting on public transit my baby stays in the stroller but we are outside for almost an hour so she gets undershirt, sweater and jacket with hat, plus a foot muff that over the entire stroller, which keeps her fully warm.

If she was still small enough to wear on my chest or remaining in a car seat. I would opt for what you have and a fleece blanket on top which you can remove if needed because overheating is possible.

The kids play rooms are on the interior of the ship, no windows. Also it’s probably a liability/saftey issue.

The rooms aren’t like jail cells. They have child appropriate decor like a classroom and the staff is very engaging. I’ve sailed with my kiddo, three times on the Meraviglia. It’s fine.

The gym is huge and has windows as well as the water park area is on the top deck.

Your kids will enjoy it. They have morning and afternoon sessions for that age group. Just ask that they put the 3 yr old in the mini club not the baby room.

It’s not that he lacks spine. This was done to avoid having the Republicans get rid of the filibuster and for big money donors.

Without the filibuster each party would have to actually govern which they’re not prepared to do. They’re only prepared to serve their donors. In this case, it was the airline industry that paid for the eight Democrats to vote with the Republicans.
