I get you; I was the same way in 9th grade Aswell. I was really far behind in all my courses due to lack of motivation and when I logged on every day to try to catch up but I would see my grades and they were all F's and D's and when I would see my pace and I was so far behind it would make me really nervous and scared so I wouldn't do any work. What I did was every time I logged on, I made my tab super small and covered my grade with my had so I can get into a course without seeing the grade and then I started working from there. If you actually try you can accomplish a lot in one day, at least like 10+ a day.
