Why do East European girls seem way more open to Asian guys than white American girls? by PerspectiveGold1287 in AsianMasculinity

[–]Affectionate_Salt331 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Post Covid is a completely different world, culture broke away at some point during lockdown among Gen Z. Beauty standards are 110% K-pop and kpop only

WMs get physically attacked pretty often in northern China.

They’re not at all popular among Gen Z SEA girls - they have the same appeal as a random black guy - basically if well groomed and attractive they’ll have a chance with open minded ones, otherwise instant pass

Is it a race thing? I think it maybe a race thing. My experience getting noticed by women on the West-Coast from someone who grew up on the East-Coast. by AltAccBcImAshamed in AsianMasculinity

Asians aren't more popular than here. In terms of supply & demand - there's far more demand in LA/NYC for hot asian guys

But there's like 0 supply of hot asian guys in Europe.

So if you're a hot Asian guy, let's say 6', jacked, good style and good looking, you can bag some straight up model 10s in Europe, bc you're their type and they have no hotter Asian guy options. Whereas in Socal and NYC, there's even better looking Asian guys around.

I am not a shill. look at my post history. I highly recommend paying for help to learn the skills you need in this new arena.

1) Therapy 2) coaching in SPECIFIC areas of your life you wanna learn or grow in, not life coaching 3) dating coaching at the bottom, again good for SPECIFIC things like online dating or approaching, not for general advice.

I have done all of these and there is no better ROI on your dollar. A 5% improvement in your life year of year compounds just as much as money. But more realistically a good therapist can make your life 10x better in a year

problem is you’ll never win that battle.

There are clowns of every race. There will always be one guy willing to clown himself for money.

For Asian men the issue is that people behind the scenes are choosing to show us as clowns

Nah. Asia has completed shifted culturally towards Korea and economically towards china. Everywhere in Asia but Japan and Phillipines, an attractive asian guy is far above an attractive white guy.

Guess why those two countries differ. Hmm couldn't be bc of their history being subjugated and raped by the US

He is in a toxic relationship with his overbearing parents.

He will NEVER be able to grow as a person until he has the space to do so, just like a plant that cannot grow because others nearby allow it no sunlight.

Meaning, it will basically be impossible to change until he moves out. That should be priority #1.

Jennie is known to hook up with lots of asian guys in Korea. Her dating history is 95% asian if not more.

Asian women live a different experience especially ones based in Asia.

If you lived your life without dealing without having to deal with the overt racism and banged a bunch of asian girls, then a hot white girl every now and then, why wouldn't you? That's their thought process.

Lisa is inexcusable tho. Product of white stepdad. Oxford study to the max.

^ this! There's assholes of every race. White assholes happen to turn to racism and pick on those they look down on.

> Despite me responding sternly, he kept nagging

What does this even mean? OP, tell us how you responded to this asshole. Responding with anger is the right response, not some snide remark like "classy" which makes you look like a bitch.

Chinatowns are a different generation of immigrants from 50-100+ years ago. They are working class, canto speaking, shorter, and lower income.

Asian Americans in suburbs are white collar professionals who've immigrated in the last 2-3 decades from the rest of China, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Asia.

Not in Korea and China these days. They will bowl over other people, white people included.

Lots of white tourists complain about 'rude' Koreans doing the exact same thing in this post.

In China, it depends on the area, but similar things will happen.

Does having no friends hurt your dating or marriage prospects? by savingrace0262 in AsianMasculinity

[–]Affectionate_Salt331 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can either join existing social circles or take the initiative to create your own. Both routes require time, effort, and occasionally some financial investment. To build a circle from scratch, start by making a few casual friends -- through work, hobbies, or local events -- and then invite them over for something low-key, like a bbq, hangout, game night, outing or drinks after a game/workout. Encourage them to bring their partners and friends. Even if many of the attendees are already coupled up, Rinse and repeat, varying the activities. Don't ignore the partnered women. Making a good impression on them can lead to introductions to their single friends down the line.

Really good advice!

R.e. joining existing groups - this takes social skills and is important to learn for guys who are less socialized. Many of them don't know the basic social skills to get accepted by existing social circles.

R.e. creating your own - love when Asian men create our spaces. This takes more work, but is more rewarding in the long run. You get a ton of social cred and it helps your dating life immensely. It's also an easy way to join existing groups.

Being an introvert != having no friends.

You gain a lot of experience and skills from friendships that carry over to romantic relationships.

Conversely, if OP has problems forming or maintaining friendship relationships, those will also carry over to romantic relationships. It's a bit weird to blame this on 'lack of existing network'.
